JB Restavracija

JB Restaurant is the story of the Bratovž family and is built on family love and cooperation. The restaurant is a real gourmet’s paradise. Its beginnings can be traced back to the year 1992 when Janez Bratovž, having gained invaluable experience abroad, returned home to Slovenia after 5 years. JB Restaurant with its chef Janez Bratovž was the first Slovenian restaurant to make the World’s 50 Best Restaurants. It is no coincidence that JB Restaurant sits at 19 Miklošič Street, designed by the greatest Slovenian architect, Jože Plečnik. Restavracija Julijana
Location: Cesta svobode 12, Bled, Slovenia
For a high-end culinary adventure with a view, head to Restavracija Julijana. Located by the serene lake, this restaurant offers gastronomic excellence at its best. Chef Simon Bertoncelj is known for the richness of his ingredients and flavours. His dishes reflect the extensive knowledge he gained at the restaurants of acclaimed chefs: he trained with the excellent Gordon Ramsay, with the French chef Marc Meurin in Lille who boasts two Michelin stars and at the Esszimmer BMW Welt restaurant in Munich, which was awarded one Michelin star. Pavus obtains their ingredients from local food producers or even the nearby forest, where they use forest fruits and nature’s delights to create creations that overcome the ordinary.
